TURNER Sept. 19, 1902 - July 16, 1993 Horace Carman Turner, 90, of Turlock died Friday at Emanuel Medical Center. Mr. Turner was a native of Los Angeles and had lived in Turlock since 1903. He was a dairyman. He was a graduate of Mountain View Grammar School and Turlock High School. He built the Mountain View Church and helped run it for several years. He also helped to build the Mountain View ballpark. He was a member of the Mountain View Fire Department, Mountain View School Board and the Mountain View Grange and Farm Bureau. He is survived by his children, Lawrence Turner of Turlock and Edward B. Turner of Hewitt, Texas; and four granchildren, four great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Turlock Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Allen Mortuary, Turlock. Transcribed by Judy Ewbank
