HOWE Dec. 11, 1923 - Nov. 16, 2000 Mildred W. Howe, 76, of Modesto died Thursday at her home. Mrs. Howe was a native of Athens, Texas. She lived in Modesto five years. She owned Don's Hillside Inn Restaurant, Porterville. She was a member of Calvary Cross Chapel, Cerritos. She is survived by her children, Jerry Howe of Phoenix and Sandy Peavy of Modesto; brother, Lee Gary of Phoenix; sister, Elva Bachtle of Porterville; and three grandchildren. Private graveside service at Riverside National Cemetery. Eaton Family Funeral & Cremation Service in charge of arrangements.
