Funeral services are pending at Franklin & Downs Funeral Home for Oscar Russell, 67, who died in a local hospital today following a lengthy illness. A native of Texas, Russell had been a general farm laborer here for the past two months. He leaves his widow, Nellie P. Russell, of Modesto; four sons, Oscar B., Howard E. and Bennie H. Russell of Arizona, and Larry A. Russell of San Francisco; 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
