KNIGHTEN IS CALLED BY DEATH Isaac T. Knighten, 77, a resident of the Modesto district for nineteen years, died at his home on Pauline Avenue Thursday after an extended illness. He was a retired farmer. A native of Oregon, Knighten leaves his widow, Mrs. Ida L. Knighten, and four children, Mrs. Chloie Chapman, Mrs. Neva Chapman and Elzie L. Knighten of Modesto and Mrs. Evielena Sperry of Arcata. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Shannon Chapel with Rev. W. R. Baird officiating.
