Ross, 82, who died Friday in Redding. A native of Texas, he had lived in Denair for many years. Survivors include two daughters, Rachel Courtright of Burney and Mary Moulton of San Jose. Also, five sons, Quiller and Jess of Redding; Raymond and Paul of Montana and Sam Ross of Orland. Turlock Daily Journal Monday August 25, 1969 Page 2 Funeral services for Samuel J. Ross, 82, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Allen Mortuary with the Rev. Leon Brokaw, officiating. Interment will be in Denair Cemetery.
