BAILEY Chester Fred Bailey, 75, a retired farmer and native of Modesto, died yesterday in a local hospital after an illness of several weeks. Services will be conducted at 1:30 PM Saturday in the Franklin & Downs Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert Hedstrom. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery. He leaves his widow, Irma V. Bailey of Modesto; one son, Earl Eugene Bailey of Auburn, Placer County; three sisters, Mrs. J. A. Beckwith of Stockton, Mrs. Vera Nutt of San Jose and Mrs. Audrey Nach of Pacific Grove, Monterey County; a brother, Ray Bailey of Mountain View, Santa Clara County; a step-daughter, Marjorie Beck of Modesto, and six grandchildren.
