    3. I posted the obituary on Ettie Lowe as part of research I was helping someone with on Robert Ollenberger. The archives of the Stanislaus mailing list can't currently be searched but it's possible that other correspondance I had with the requester is in the archives. Lowe (Empire) A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Lakewood memorial Park for Ettie Ellen Lowe, 60, one of two people killed Friday in a traffic accident on Santa Fe Avenue near Denair. A native of Arkansas, she had lived in Stanislaus County since 1942. She is survived by her sons, Otis Perkins of Empire, Paul Perkins of Arkansas and Larry Barrick of Missouri, daughters Debbie Barraick of Modesto and Marilyn Vintage of Atwater, one brother, one sister Edna Perkins of Empire and 14 grandchildren. Tryfon Lolonis, 28 of Ballico, the driver of the second vehicle in the nearly head-on collision was listed in stable condition Sunday night in Emanuel Medical Center. The victims were identified as Robert R. Ollenberger, 66, the driver of one vehicle and his passenger, Bettie E. Lowe, 60, both of Empire. Listed in serious condition at Emanuel Hospital in Turlock was Tryfon Lolonis, 28 of Ballico, the driver of the other vehicle. CHP officers said the accident happened at 9:20 p.m. in thick fog about three quarters of a mile south of Monte Vista Avenue. The Ollenberger car was southbound on Santa Fe Avenue and the Lolonis car was northbound when they collided almost headon, according to CHP officers. The accident was under investigation and further details were unavailable.
