WELCH (Hughson) A service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Lakewood Memorial Park Chapel for Florence Mae Welch, 77, of Hughson, who died Friday in an Oakdale hospital after a long illness. Burial will be private. Friends may visit the Franklin & Downs Colonial Chapel, Modesto, between 1 and 9 p.m. Monday. A native of Oklahoma, Mrs. Welch had lived in Hughson 42 years. She leaves two daughters, June Silva of Hughson and Velma Sue Baker of Petaluma; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Transcribed by Judy Ewbank
