Lunsford, 57, Modesto, died today in a local hospital after a long illness. He was born in Waco, Neb., and lived in Modesto for 19 years. He was a carpenter and operated a saw filing shop on Crows Landing Road. Lunsford was a member of the Methodist Church. He leaves his widow, Marie Lunsford of Modesto, and two brothers, Frank Lunsford of Nebraska and William Lunsford of Washington State. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Franklin & Downs Funeral Home. Inurnment will be in the Lakewood Memorial Park. Transcribed by Judy Ewbank
