Visitation is at Allen Mortuary from 4 p.m. Sunday. A native of Ohio, she moved to Denair in 1920. She later moved to Portland, Ore. before returning to Stanislaus County. She was a member of the Evangelical Free Church. She is survived by four daughters, Bernice Hensley of Modesto, Mary Elizabeth Herr of Turlock, Gertrude Kraus of San Jose and Margaret Kuglin of Modesto; four sons, Charles of Knights Landing, John of Portland, Ore., Walter of Sunyvale and David of Georgia; 20 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
