Courier / July 12, 2006 Noel M. Featherston A chapel service was held Friday at Lakewood Funeral Home for Noel Malcomb Featherston, 94, of Ceres. He died Friday, June 30, 2006 at his home. Burial was at Lakewood Memorial Park. Born Nov. 12, 1911, Mr. Featherston was a native of Tennessee and lived in Ceres for 70 years. He was a self-employed farmer and a volunteer firefighter in the 1940s. Mr. Featherston was a member of the Featherston Duck Club and Ceres Masonic Lodge No. 532. He leaves behind two children, Noel Terry Featherston of Hughson and Richard Aubrey Featherston of Ceres; and 11 grandchildren and 13great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Ora Featherston; and a brother. -Ceres (Calif.)
