Modesto Bee, The (CA) - March 7, 2004 ALVA L. ROBERTSON Sept. 9, 1923 -- Feb. 26, 2004 Alva Loren Robertson, 80, of Modesto died Feb. 26 at Evergreen Rehabilitation Care. Mr. Robertson was a native of Omaha, Ark., and lived in Modesto six years. He previously lived in Sacramento 15 years. He was a bus driver. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a Pearl Harbor survivor. He enjoyed big band music and golden era radio. He is survived by his wife, Eva Pauline Robertson of Modesto; children, Danny Robertson of Branson, Mo., Sam Robertson, Brenda Clifford, Deborah Robertson and Paula Jones, all of Modesto, and Lorna DeGraffenreid of Omaha, Ark.; sister, Oma Baker of Grand Junction, Colo.; and seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. No services planned.
