Mrs. Carter was a native of Holdenville, Okla. She lived in Keyes 42 years. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Jesse Carter of Keyes; children, James Carter of Charleston, S.C., Vicky Fox of Keyes and Gary Carter of Denair; a brother, Joe Green of San Diego; sisters, Helen Crow and Joy Baughman, both of Keyes; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
