I found besides the four sons that you mentioned, William and Violet (Wylie) McCreery had two daughters: Lillian Reid McCreery; born 25 October 1886 in California; died 3 August 1979 in Stanislaus county. She married Earl R. FLINN. Martha Viola McCreery; born 6 July 1901 in California; died 21 December 1993 in Stanislaus county. She first married William H. BESECKER and second unknown WEISS. William McCreery died in Oakdale, Stanislaus county, on 26 August 1929. Violet Wylie-McCreery died in San Jose, Santa Clara county on 13 January 1936. I found both of their obituaries and I've attached them below. William's obituary proved to be a big help in researching his siblings. According to the obituary, both William's brother, John, and sister, Martha, were still living. I was able to find information on both of them. John McCreery was recorded in the Santa Monica, Los Angeles county census from 1910 to 1930. According to the California Death Index, John died in Los Angeles county on 2 October 1930. Martha married Frank H. HORTON (1846-1931) and also died in Los Angeles county- on 23 August 1938. She and Frank Horton had one child- Mark M. Horton (born 16 January 1887 in Alameda county; died 2 May 1965 in Los Angeles county). I was also able to find Jennie McCreery and her husband, N. K. F. BISHOP in the 1880 Census (Alameda county). I have been unable to locate them after this census, but I know that they remained in the area for at least a little while longer. In the 1900 Federal Census for Frank and Martha (McCreery) Horton, listed in the household was sister-in-law, Laura V. BISHOP (born February 1889). I also was able to trace Jennie McCreery and Mr. Bishop's daughter, Adelaide. She was born 11 May 1873 and died in Los Angeles county on 24 May 1957. She first married Edward S. WILLIAMSON, and second James P. DUFF. Two of Adelaide's daughters with Edward Williamson died in Los Angeles county- Verna BOSTWICK (1900-1985) and Roberta ABRAMS (1906-1999). I haven't had much time to look this morning, and I hope to find more for you before tomorrow. I volunteer for the California Archives (http://www.calarchives4u.com/lookups.htm). If I can look anyone up for you, please let me know. Jeannie http://genealogygenie.blogspot.com/ P.S. I was also able to locate Charles McCreery in San Joaquin county in 1900.
