TWEEDY Dec. 4, 1917 -- Feb. 22, 2005 Pearl M. Tweedy, 87, of Modesto died Tuesday at her home. Mrs. Tweedy was a native and lifelong resident of Modesto. She was a homemaker. She was a member of AARP, Modesto Trailer RV Club and Presbyterian Circle Group. She enjoyed playing cards, traveling, restaurants and gardening. She is survived by her children, Dorothy J. Lareau and Jacqueline L. McDaniel, both of Modesto; and five grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Tweedy. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lakewood Funeral Home, Hughson, with a graveside service at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lakewood Memorial Park, Hughson.
