I really is helping alot! Yes this is Rev. Joseph McCREERY b.1814 and his daughter Jane's family. So he must have lived with his daughters family after his wife died (Sidney BARNES McCREERY b: 15 APR 1819 d.????)So she died Either in NY, Ill, or California. I thought there would have been allot of information on him PREACHING in California? I am not sure if he stayed with the M.E. church or went on to be a Free Methodist Preacher? Maybe he had a Church or riding circuit in California? We know REV. Joseph died Dec 2, 1892 11:30 p.m. Joseph McCreey, a widow, died of paralysis of the brain at the home of his son William at 364 Washburn street, Dec. 2 aged 79 years. He had left 3three3 sons and a daughter and has lived in California until 1891, In 1870 Joseph was living with his daughters Bishop family in San Joaquin,CA We know that Jane died so the living daughter was Martha MCCREERY HORTON b: 12 JUN 1857, So I am missing information on Charles and James McCRARY. 3. William MCCREERY b: 14 JUN 1850 Allegany County, NY 4. James MCCREERY b: 5 MAR 1852 All we know is that one of them died before 1891. Thank You Best regards ;-) Kurt
