Hi ....I know I keep asking, but I'm still hoping that someone out there might have access to the local 1949 Modesto newspaper. I was wondering if someone might check to see if there was an obituary written for, Ida Lee Brown? I always assumed that after my great grandfather died that she went back to Texas, but I recently checked the CA Death Index and there she was! Her name was: Ida Lee Hedges Brown b. 6 Oct. 1863 KY. d. 17 Feb. 1949 Stanislaus Co. CA. I know I have asked several times before, but I never heard back from anyone.
