Roy E. Wilson of the Community Methodist Church officiating. Interment was in the Oakdale Cemetery. Mrs. Schmidt died yesterday morning in a Modesto hospital after a long illness. She wqas born in Michigan August 16, 1861, and had lived in the Robinson district, east of Oakdale, for the past thirty three years. She leaves her husband, Gustav F. Schmidt of Oakdale, two sisters, Mrs. Adam House of Laton and Mrs. Lillian Johnson of Macon City, Mo., and two brothers, James Shirey of Laton and Hiram Shirey of Seattle.
