    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Weyrauch, Wyruck, Wyrough, Wyrouch, Wirehage, Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/ZW.2ADI/2.1 Message Board Post: hi, David, don't have access to email, my provider's email server self destructed last Friday. keep an eye on my WorldConnect site (hah, it crashed over the weekend, too, Ancestry is scrambling to pick up the pieces) I have added some new information, some of it may be wrong, but I'm sure you've noticed there's room for missing siblings and I think I've found a couple. also, John Weihrauch, as we used to know him, has a letter of intention online at Centre Co., PA Genweb. it's linked to them through the naturalization link, but type in Johan Weyrauch to look at it. it's an actual scan. unfortunately the town given for his birth doesn't exist in Bavaria and may never have. FHL is transcribing Pfalz region records to the IGI, so they may suddenly appear some day. also, a relative of Francis' sister Caroline proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that her marriage truly was to John Shabaugher, and that's up at WorldConnect as well. one head spinner, you know Nana gave Francis' death as 22 Jul 1884? well, there's 6 land patents in Fort Bend, Wharton that state F. Wyruck was patentee for a fair chunk of land on 11-14 Sep., 1886. so we do have a bit of a glitch, here. she mixed up his birth date with his marriage date to Nancy, so who knows what date the 22 Jul, 1884 date is. was it '87? no telling. it occured to me today that not only can I not find him anywhere in 1850 (supposedly in Bates Co., MO from a note I have, but so far, no luck) but that other than 3 notes, that he was supposed to be raised by a sister of his, that he'd travelled extensively before settling down and that he was in Bates Co. before he was in Vernon (Vernon was created out of Bates, what do you guess he never moved, the Co. border moved?), other than that, I know nothing of Francis from the day he was born to the day he married Nancy. he was 30 years old, she was barely 18. was he married before? where was he in those years between Centre Co., PA and Vernon Co., MO? I have so many questions. I've been stirring the pot, long and hard, found a few scattered Wyrough's we knew (and know) nothing about, a possible brother of Johannes Weyrauch, Francis Wirehage b. abt 1788 France (Johannes was b. abt 1785 in Bavaria, from his age on his letter of intention), apparently had a son Frank Wirehage b. abt! 1815 in Prussia (one of Jacob Wyrouch's census' says Prussia, I don't give it much mind, it depends on the census year), well, I could prattle on for hours with the details, but this gives you a good idea of the general situation with the Weyrauch's as it sits right now.
