Hanser Rites Will Be Held Monday Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Norton Mortuary for Henry D. Hanser, 73, who died Friday morning in a local doctor's office following an extended illness. Born in Sedalia, Missouri, he lived in Minot, N.D., for 15 years where he operated a restaurant. Mr. Hanser came to Turlock in 1921 and worked as a chef for eight years. He also worked for the Goodrich Oil Co. for a number of years until his retirement in 1942. He was a member of the Modern Woodsman. Mr. Hanser is survived by his wife, Christine M. Hanser of Turlock; two daughters, Dorothea O'Leary of Fresno and Lucille Warren of Fresno; a sister, Theresa Mayer of Washington, and one grandchild. The Rev. Axel Anderson, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church, will officiate at the services. Interment will be in the Turlock Cemetery.
