He was born August 24, 1920, in Gualala, California, and had lived his entire life in Northern California, the past seven years in Rio Dell, where he was employed as a logger. He is survived by his three small children, Jimmie, Larry, and Diana, and five brothers; Mike Luzzi, Rio Dell; Ed Luzzi, Elk, California; Aldo Luzzi, Fort Bragg; Leo Luzzi, Doris, California, and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and other relatives. Rosary for James Peter Luzzi will recited at the chapel of Goble's Fortuna mortuary Thursday evening at 8. Following brief rites at Goble's chapel Friday morning at 9:30, mass will be offered at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic church in Fortuna, with Father John Healy officiating.
