Pollard passed away Sunday evening, May 6, at the residence of her son, O. L. Pollard, near Turlock. She was a native of Missouri, aged 74 years, 5 months and 7 days, and has been a resident of California for the past 12 years. She resided for some time in Fresno, but has made her home with her son in this district for the past two years, and was a member of the Turlock Methodist Episcopal church. Mrs. Pollard is preceded in death by her husband, J. M. Pollard, who passed away in Fresno in 1909, and one son, Edwin M. Pollard. Funeral services will be conducted in the Turlock M. E. church on Wednesday morning, May 9, at 10 o'clock. Rev. E. I. La Rue will officiate, assisted by the Rev. John Young of Ceres. Immediately following the services the body of Mrs. Pollard will be taken to Fresno, where interment will take place in the family plot. Mrs. Pollard's body will be at the Geckler funeral home until 9:30 o'clock Wednesday morning.
