She was a native of Sweden, 68 years of age, came to America in 1880 and resided in Minnesota until 1902, when she moved to this district, where she has since made her home. She leaves to morn her passing six sons, Abel, Emin and Leedy Chelgren of this district; Will and Oscar Chelgren of Stockton, and Carl Chelgren of Moreland, Iowa, and two brothers, Carl and Nels Clarine of Fairbault, Minn. She was preceded in death by two sons and two daughters. The funeral will take place Thursday afternoon, May 10, at 2 o'clock, from the Berea Lutheran church, the Rev. Carl Anderson officiating, and interment will be in the Hilmar cemetery under the direction of the Geckler funeral home.
