I now know the Indian part was not true. I was hoping to find someone who may have pictures of Franklin Coffee or his wife Matilda. I obtained an obituary copy of Matilda which had a newspaper picture of her but it is not real clear. You probably have all the same info I have on the family and I am willing to share if you don't. The Rev. Paul A. Nelson, pastor of thr First Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in the Turlock Memorial Park. Mr Brown died yesterday morning in a local hospital. Born and reared in Stockton he attended schools there and made his home in Tracy before coming to Turlock 13 years ago. He was a member of the First Methodist Church, a past master of Hornitos Lodge F&AM, the Turlock Police Reserves and 12:10 Lions Club of Turlock. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Medical Corps of the Air Force. Survivors include his wife, Doris Brown, Turlock; a son, Darryl Brown, attending college in San Jose; a brother, Leland Brown, and a sister, Dorothy Shepherd, both of Twain Harte. Hanser Rites Will Be Held Monday Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Norton Mortuary for Henry D. Hanser, 73, who died Friday morning in a local doctor's office following an extended illness. Born in Sedalia, Missouri, he lived in Minot, N.D., for 15 years where he operated a restaurant. Mr. Hanser came to Turlock in 1921 and worked as a chef for eight years. He also worked for the Goodrich Oil Co. for a number of years until his retirement in 1942. He was a member of the Modern Woodsman. Mr. Hanser is survived by his wife, Christine M. Hanser of Turlock; two daughters, Dorothea O'Leary of Fresno and Lucille Warren of Fresno; a sister, Theresa Mayer of Washington, and one grandchild. The Rev.
