He was a 23-year employee of United Parcel Service; he worked in vehicle maintenance. He belonged to the Teamsters union. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, San Jose. He was an Air Force veteran, serving from 1952 to 1954. He is survived by his wife, Beulah McKee of Modesto; son, Charles Lantznester of Woodbridge; brother, Gerald McKee of Camarillo; sisters, Elizabeth Hostetler of Prescott, Ariz; and stepsister, Gertrude Ropolo of Fresno; and two grandchildren. VANDIVORT enlisted in Company K. 36th Ohio Infantry in 1861, when he was 18 years old. He served three years, receiving his honorable discharge on September 14, 1864. On October 4, 1864, he re-enlisted in Company A. 38th Ohio Infantry, and served until July, 1865. VANDIVORT was a native of Pennsylvania. He had lived in California for sixteen years and in Modesto for the past year. He was the father of Mrs. Mary B. CLINKENBEARD of Modesto, Russell VANDIVORT of Missouri. Mrs. C. V. SMITH of Arizona, Mrs. Omar SEVLE of Los Angeles and Mrs. E. J. RODEKOHR of Missouri. He also leaves a sister in Misosuri.
