I've been doing genealogy for a while but looking at message boards only recently. I'm excited to find a posting, and a recent one at that, concerning one of my relations. Tillie Mae Alford is my great aunt. Her brother, Fred, is my grandfather. I can send you a picture of Harley and Tillie's gravestone. They are buried together in Turlock Memorial Park. My mother makes bouquets of flowers from her garden every Memorial Day to place on the graves of relatives in Denair and Turlock cemetaries. BTW, you have probably discovered by now that Tillie was not born in Turlock. Her birth place was probably Chino, San Bernadino, CA. I hope to hear from you soon.
