It is a fine picture of a very large and proud family. The rest of the Stepping Stones issue for Winter 1979 is about Wood Colony, the original German Baptist Brethren community in Stanislaus County. Please send me your address to my private e-mail address and I will send the article to you. The Stanislaus County Library in Modesto has a fairly complete collection of the Stanislaus Stepping Stones publication, as well as a fine clipping file and other historical information in their Stanislaus History Room. Additional pictures and Stanislaus information is available at the McHenry Museum. Both organizations can be reached through the Stanislaus County Library website at: http://www.ainet.com/scfl/scfl.htm Books available can be located through the online catalog at the above site. McHenry Museum can be accessed through the Local Information site on the Library homepage. Judy Ewbank ewbank@inreach.com
