That is corrected now and it is up in it's entirety (Sheet numbers 1a-87b). Hehehehehe....we have it and they are up there in all their glory. List, I have just completed transcribing the 1870 Stanislaus Co Census. Is there anyone on this list that would be interested in taking on the task of proof reading my transcription? Let me know and I will get you set up to do that. Please, I would very much like to have someone who would be dedicated to finishing the project once they accept the responsibility. It is a fairly easy census to read, and contains about 176 transcribed pages with about 6800+ individuals. You will need to provide your own materials for a source reference, either in the form of a CD or microfilm of the original archive. Heritage Quest has this CD for around $15.00. My CD is borrowed, so I will not be able to pass it along. Nancy Waite Portland OR grandmahorses@qwest.net

Foley...On his death certificate, he had an alias of Daniel.... also said that he was widowed...he died in 1940 and her name was Florence. What makes me think this might be the same Florence is that his will, which I have was a foreign will, probated first in Chicago where he died and then in Stockton, Calif. It showed at one time he owned 1/2 of a piece of property there. No one knows anything about his alias or why he used it. What information do you have.?
