    3. Posted on: Stanislaus County, Ca Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ca/Stanislaus/11272 Surname: MUNN ------------------------- I looked through the Cemetery Listings published by the Stanislaus County Genealogical Society today. Frank Munn was not listed in any of them, nor were any other Munn's. I also looked in the paper for that time period and did not find an article. Many of the obituaries were treated almost like a social column and if it was there I did not see it. If you have a newspaper article, does it have any information with it such as Newspaper that published the obit, date of publication, any news article surrounding the obit, any names of family or towns besides Modesto? The Stanislaus County City Directory did not begin publication until 1910, and I could look to see if there were any Munn's still around after 15 years. Lakewood Cemetery in Hughson, Patterson and Newman have not been worked on at this time. Turlock will be available in about a month. I usually recheck my NOT FOUND requests over several months in case other information becomes available. Judy Ewbank

I was unable to locate any information on George Yeakel or any other Yeakel in the published cemetery listings or in the City Directory for Stanislaus County. If you know he was in Stanislaus County in 1912, but he died in San Joaquin County in 1951, it is most likely he moved to San Joaquin County in the meantime. There was not an obituary within a week of the date of death for George. Judy
