Karen, your message caught my eye because of the last name and Stanislaus County. I am a Souza and also live in Stanislaus. Most of my family are from Merced County. Any connection? My Grandfather, Arnold Souza's parents were Bento and Caroline Souza.
I just found a Judith Lee lawrence born 7/25/1936 in Stanislaus,CA Mother's name was Matoza. Doesn't list father. This is about the right time for my husband's half sister. He doesn't know who the mother was and there is no family left who can tell us. The father was LeRoy Louis Lawrence b: 8/9/1913 and d: 9/8/1971. The grandparents were Leo Lawrence and Mable Grace Provin Lawrence of Clinton, IOWA. If this is the right Judith or if anyone sees this who knows the right Judith - we just want to know her. She is our blood and our family and just because dad wasn't the greatest, doesn't mean we can't be family. He left my husband and his brother and sister when my husband was seven. Contact us - PLEASE
Transcribed obituaries were sent directly to Valerie Clift for the three requests.
Please tell my about your "Newton Burkhart"...

If you have an someone related to your family with the last name Polynice we are related. the question is how and how far back. My mother is the last of ten, and I have never met my whole family but I too am researching the family line. I have found it goes back to the time of Greek history and to the name Thebes. Write me and lets compare notes. Gabrielleoriol@aol.com
