My Grandfather was Lee Roy Burkhart. However the birth date is a bit off. My Grandad Lee Roy was born March 14, 1887 in Cambria, Pennsylvania, the son of Daniel G. and Elizabeth (Lidey) Burkhart. Grandad married Josephine Catherine Wega on May 11, 1914. They somehow (railroad?) came to Wyoming, and their adopted my dad when he was 2 years old. Grandad, LeeRoy was a conductor for the Burlington RailRoad for most of his life. Hope this helps, if not maybe you can help me....I cannot find any further information about Daniel G. Burkhart (G G Grandad).....last known to have lived in Cambria, Pennsylvania. Story has it he is a decendant of the Von Burkhardt's of Germany and Scottland. Thanks, and good luck in your searches

I think her name was Mrs. Helen ROBERTS of Lindsay, CA in June 1944 when her father, Wm Laud MUNHOLLON was killed in an auto accident. Here is his Obituary from the Modesto Bee, June 8, 1944, p2; "Servoces Are Planned For Victim Of Crash: Funeral services for William L. Munhollon, 49, who was killed instantly early yesterday morning when his car was struck by a truck on the Tuolumne River Bridge, will be held Saturday at 2 o/clock in the East Lawn Chapel in Sacramento under the direction of Moore's Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in the East Lawn Cemetery. Munhollon, a native of Buffalo, MO, had resided in Califhia eight years, three of them in Sacramento. Also killed in the crash was Bert Anthony Gallo, Jr., 2, while the child's mother, Mrs. Pauline Gallo, 32, of! Sacramento, was injured. Munhollon was the father of James D. Munhollon of Oakland, Paul Munhollon of Sacramento, Richard Munhollon of Parson, Kans., Mrs. Helen Roberts of Lindsay and Mrs. Lavon Vallerio of Lodi."
