I've "rescued" an old photograph of Claud PARKER and Nellie PARKER KNOX which was taken at the Barnett Studio in Modesto, California. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's with Claud about 3 years old an Nellie just an infant. Based on limited research and thanks to the help of a PARKER Family Researcher I was able to gather the following information regarding this family: Claude Edgar PARKER was b. 22 Apr 1886 in Stanislaus, CA to parents Horace Edgar PARKER (1863-1940) and Mary Matilda VIVIAN (1862-1930). Claude married Bertha Matilda JOHNSON (1897-1966) and together they had three children including, Matilda Bertha; Martha Gertrude; and Viola Mae PARKER, all born between 1919 and 1921. Claude's daughter Matilda married into the PRESTON Family and had 4 children, Robert; Sherry; Michael; and John PRESTON. Daughter Martha married into the CHENAULT Family and had two children, Carl; and Karen CHENAULT. The third daughter did not have children. Nellie Vivian PARKER was b. 24 Nov 1887 to the same couple. Nellie married George Amos KNOX (1867-1947) and d. 3 Aug 1984. Nellie is buried in the Pioneer Cemetery in Modesto, CA. There is no record of any children born to this couple.
