The John Dick you mentioned who died in 1940 is showing as being born in Austria about 1874. Immigrated in 1910, listed as a servant on the 1920 census in Stanislaus. Then there is a John J. Dueck who was born in Dec 1866 and died in 1937, married to an Elizabeth. Death was in San Louis Obispo county. What caught my attention was that they are buried at Willow Creek Mennonite Cemetery.
