Hello We have no divorce records at the Oakdale Museum and a search of obit and cemetery records was negative for May Beatrix Head Noland or any one named Head but I did find some leads to your second question regarding the name of May's second husband. A search for anyone with first name May who died in the 1930's resulted in the following names: May Hamilton d. 1937, May B. Oslo died 1931, May E. Stolp d. 1931 and May Ahrendes d. 1932. May B. Oslo looked the best of these so checked the Oakdale cemetery records and find she was born in 1889 and died January 8, 1931 and her obit was published Jan 15, 1931. If you think this is hour grandmother I will copy the obit for you. Have a great day. Unable to determine who was at the wheel of the Livingston car at the time of the crash, the jury returned a verdict of "accidental collision of an automobile driven by Leslie or Thomas Livingston with a house trailer attached to an auto driven by M.C. Musser." Musser, Marion Creek, first motorist to reach the scene after the accident; Homer Livingston, father of the victims, and Captain A. A. Morrison of the Stanislaus Highway Patrol were among principal witnesses at the inquest , conducted by Coroner George Sovern. Leslie Livingston was almost instantly killed, while Thomas lived several hours after the crash. Joint funeral services for the two victims will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Sovern Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Modesto Cemetery.
