Mr. Dahlgren was a native of Willow Cree, Wash. He lived in Modesto 80 years. He was a self-employed real estate broker, retiring in 1990. He served as the county fair manager in 1946 and 1947. He is survived by his children, Charleen Kuykendall of San Rafael, Spencer Dahlgren of Medford, Ore., and Rhonda Dahlgren of Modesto; and two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Hilma Dahlgren, 82, a resident of Turlock for more and 50 years, died yesterday morning in a local nursing home following a lingering illness. A native of Minnesota, she lived in Washington for several years where she was married and came to Turlock in 1916, making her home here until her death. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Swanson, of Modesto, two sons, George, of Modesto, and Arthur of Healdsburg; three sisters, Cora Parker of Idaho and Hannah and Eula Mickelson, both of San Francisco. She attended the Beulah Covenant Church. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Norton Mortuary, with Virgil Hanson, chaplin of the Emanual Hospital, officiating. Interment will be in Turlock Memorial Park. I am not researching or related to this family.
