Mrs. Henry Rafter read a Christian Science service and interment followed in Citizens Cemetery. Mrs. Morrison was born in North San Juan, Nevada County, December 17, 1874 and came to Oakdale in 1882. She was married to George T. Morrison in 1894. Her husband was city marshal of Oakdale for many years prior to his detah in 1915. Since 1918 Mrs. Morrison had served the city as treasurer. Mr. Morrison had been a sufferer from intestinal troubles for about a year, but his condiition was not considered serious until about three weeks ago, when he was brought to this city for treatment. The disease had progressed too far to yield a treatment and as a last resort an operation was performed without success. I found him through another source, and he told me he lived in Turlock at the Tully Road address, then moved to another address in Turlock, moved to Hughson, and has now moved back to Turlock.
