Wow, you certainly have a quest. I only have two Cass. Samuel Cass b 1783 in MD son of Bowman Cass. Samuel married Leticia Tayler. For some reason that I haven't been able to figure out, all of their 8 children used the name CAST. I went to a Cast family reunion this past summer , but neglected to ask if anyone knew the answer to this riddle.
