    2. Cathy: I too am of the CASPER line (wherever that may be). My grandfather Benjamin Orville Casper son of Samuel Anthony Casper born in Cincinnati Ohio 1849. My great grandmother, Rhoda Anne Brown (Sams Wife) and Sam are buried in Coleraine, Itasca, MN in 1925. Ben was born in Prairie City, Iowa. Most of Sam & Rhodas kids I believe are in MN. I haven't been able to track them as of late. Ben and his wife Carrie Susie emigrated to Alberta in 1905 thereabouts. Most of the family lost track of the Canadian slipaways, as such the family in Canada stands unto itself (I guess). I'm still looking also try Rootsweb: Leonard and Sarah Kimbrough Brown Family http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/ dansgen/. Good luck, Mac McCallum

    3. We are still trying hard to find where Ron's ancestors came from in Germany, his parents died when he was young so that has added to the problem but we have traced back to his great, great grandparents Peter Casper & Catherine Pisor they married in Kingston upon Hull, England on 8th November 1842.They both stated they had been born in Germany but where? We believe other members of the Casper family may have sailed on further to America. We still live in England in Scarborough North Yorkshire aprox. 40 miles from Hull.We long to find out more. All best wishes from Ron & Gill Casper.
