    1. [CASPER] CASPER Family Photographs
    2. Shelley Cardiel
    3. I've "rescued" two old photographs of Charles CASPER of Wilson, Wisconsin. Both photographs were taken at the Billings Studio in Racine, WI. I believe the photographs were likely taken in the early 1900's with Charles appearing to be in his 20's at the time. Based on limited research I was able to locate Charles in census records as follows: 1910 census of Cady Township, WI: Charles CASPER, age 29, married 3 years, born Germany, parents born Germany, to USA 1891, a Farmer Anna CASPER, wife, age 28, married 3 years, 1 child/1 living, born Germany, parents born Germany, to USA 1893 Florence A. CASPER, dau, age 2, born WI 1920 census of Cady, WI: Charley CASPER, age 39, to USA 1884, born Germany, parents born Germany, a Farmer Anna CASPER, wife, age 38, born Germany, parents born Germany Florence CASPER, dau, age 12, born WI Alice CASPER, dau, age 2, born WI I am hoping locate someone from his family so that these wonderful old photographs can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of this CASPER Family, or know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley

    3. Hi: I'm not sure as I'm still looking for siblings of Samuel A. Casper b. 1849 in Cincinnati, OH that married Rhoda Ann Brown. Haven't found them as yet. I did find that Sams mother was Sarah Leonard. His father was A. Casper I'm not sure if the A is for Anthony or another name as Sams middle name was Anthony. Where is Stark County in relation to Cincinnati. 3. Hi: I have not yet worked on my Casper connection, but I have monitored this list for some time. My Great-Grandmother was Louise Adaline "Lucy" Casper. She was born May 23, 1851, in Stark County, Ohio. Her father was Henry Casper and her mother was Rachel Foulk, or Faulk. She died Dec. 19, 1918, in Staunton, Clay County, Indiana and is buried in the Rule Cemetery, Clay County, Indiana. She married my Great-Grandfather, James Hiram Lawson, Sep.1, 1872. Does any of this fit the families you are discussing? Thanks, LeRoy Lawson ----- Original Message ----- From: "G. 1. Re: [CASPER] CASPER/COSPER Connections
    2. I have never found a connection for the Bertie County Casper line to the Casper line of Rowan County NC. I am related to the Rowan County family. The Union and Pulaski County, IL line is also related to the Rowan County family. I can get the documentation for you if you are need it. There were 2 Peter Casper's that moved their families to IL in the 1800's . The earliest of them moved in the 1830's & was the only Son of Conrad Casper and Catherine. Peter married Esther Fullenwider and had Alexander, Eliza, Stephen, Caleb, Henry, Elnora,Catherine, Esther, Peter H., and Anna.(Birthdates and some descendant's available on request). The other Peter Casper family moved to IL.in 1850 & was the Nephew of Conrad. He married Catherine Frick and their children were, Adam, John, Charles, Moses, Daniel, William, Eve Caroline, Simeon, & Margaret. ( Dates and family information available also on request) Both Peter's were named for their Grandfather Peter of the Rowan County Line. The Rowan County line moved to Rowan County from Hunterdon County,New Jersey about 1777 or 78. Hope this helps. Ann caschele@sigecom.net

    3. We are still trying hard to find where Ron's ancestors came from in Germany, his parents died when he was young so that has added to the problem but we have traced back to his great, great grandparents Peter Casper & Catherine Pisor they married in Kingston upon Hull, England on 8th November 1842.They both stated they had been born in Germany but where? We believe other members of the Casper family may have sailed on further to America. We still live in England in Scarborough North Yorkshire aprox. 40 miles from Hull.We long to find out more. All best wishes from Ron & Gill Casper.
