Do you have any information on which quarter of the section this is? (A section of land contains 640 acres, one square mile, so 160 acres is a quarter-section.) The property is on what is today Parker Hill Road north of Santa Rosa. FWIW, the 1877 "New Historical Atlas of Sonoma County" does not show Mr. Parrent as a landowner in that area.
