I've "rescued" an old photograph of Emma Vera BOYD which was taken at the Holmes Bros. Studio in Charlestown, Massachusetts. The photograph is dated 1886 and notes that Emma is 2 years and 9 months old at the time. Based on limited research and thanks to the assistance of a BOYD Family Researcher I was able to gather the following information regarding Emma and her family: Emma married Ira Lesgar NEILL about 1905 and together they had two children, Vera Aileen (died in her teens) and Lesgar LeRoy NEILL who died in Santa Rosa, CA in 1995. Census records provide the following: 1900 census of Boston, MA: Eliza J. BOYD, age 45, born Mar 1855, a widow, 1 child/1 living, born Canada, parents born Scotland, to USA 1880, a Private Housekeeper Emma V. BOYD, dau, age 17, born Sept 1883, born MA, parents born Canada/Scotland, at School + 8 Boarders I am hoping to locate someone from this BOYD Family so that the photograph can be returned to its rightful place, with family.
