I checked here in MO and do not find the two sons listed under Bramhall (or similar spellings). I also do not find the early census records for your Aunt or Bernard Bramhall (in any of the states you mention). Given that and the fact that Bernard states his marriage to Candace was his first .... something does not seem correct. Was you Aunt born in MO? If so, you haven't given a name, so I can't check the records here. As well as looking at the Draft Card (of April 26, 1942), that William so graciously provided for you, it seems as if you may have an error somewhere along the line. I also found no documentation of your Aunt and a Bernard Bramhall marrying in MO, nor divorcing. You also don't have immigration information on Bernard ... how do you know he was from England? Or perhaps you haven't shared all of the data you do know, and so it is difficult to help at this point.
