I haven't been able to find obituaries for the requested people (I live 1/2 hr away and don't get to the Genealogical library very often), but there are several articles or mentions of other Haweses: William H Hawes, Alphus Peter Hawes, H. Q. Hawes, Eleanor Hawes, Muriel Hawes, Horace Hawes, Jr, Susan Hawes, and a Shirley Hawes. Do any of these mean anything to you?    I do find Alvin mentioned in a publication called  "Graton- Images of America" dated 2009  Annex R 979.418 Hope that helps.
