Regarding Glaphire & Thomas' children: I have only been able to identify 3 of Glaphire & Thomas Ward's 7 children. The original information (number of children) came from Thomas and his second wife's son Charles as given to Kate Mayo in her book. David and Benton (Glaphire & Thomas' sons) are reported in Glaphire's father's will (John A. Mitchell Bowman died 1858) and receive inheritance, their sister Nancy Elizabeth is not mentioned and dies in November 1858. All three of these children appear in the 1852 CA State Census.
