Donna, Here's what I found on the Heritage Books Archive CD "Sonoma County (CA) Records, Volume 1, under Sonoma County CA Reconstructed 1890 census [which used many resources] Schukowsky, Frederick August W. age 45 laborer, comments: 13 Jul 1875 San Francisco, CA. born Germany residence Sonoma Township, source: Great Register of Voters. Then I looked at my Great Register of Voters CALIFORNIA 1890 CD, also from Heritage Quest and this is what is there: Schukowsky, Frederick August age 45 b. Germany, Resident Sonoma township, Sonoma County, registered 26 March 1888, Naturalized citizen, page 77 I would infer from this information that he was 45 on March 26, 1888. Hope this helps.
