Eugene is survived by his wife, Shirley Taldo and son, James Taldo, his wife, Erica and grandson, Gavin. He was preceded in death by his son, Rick Taldo. Eugene was a native of Tonitown, Ark., born Jan. 12, 1917. He was a Merchant Marine, proud WWII veteran, Mill Valley volunteer fireman and ultimately retired as a taxi cab driver in San Francisco. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 3, 2006, at 11 a.m. at Duggan's Mission Chapel, 525 W. Napa St., Sonoma. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you send donations to the Disabled American Veterans Society.
