Don't know if anyone can help, but I am searching backward on this one. My grandfather (John Francis O'Brien) was admitted to Napa State Hospital in 1932 by his daughter. He died in 1937 and his death certificate stated his residence was Sonoma County. It also stated he was a widower at the time he was committed by his daughter. By any chance, is there a way to find his wife's name and date of death. An obituary (O'Brien) for her would state she is survived by her husband, John Francis O'Brien and a daughter. There may have been more children that I am not aware of. Her death would have been prior to 1932 and probably in Sonoma County. Any ideas how to locate her? Mike
Oops, my bad. I did this record in the index, helps if I was looking for Napa county. OBRIEN, John F. 81 Napa Co. 12/19/1937 record 79560. This gives me a guess at date of birth -1856. I will see what I can find. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Mike O'Brien Sent: Monday, November 06, 2006 5:25 PM To: CASONOMA-L Subject: [CASONOMA] O'Brien family Don't know if anyone can help, but I am searching backward on this one.
