My uncle was Bernard Hugh Roarty, born around 1916, died in 1975. To know knowledge, Bernard and Elizabeth didn't have any children of their own, but Elizabeth had a child from a previous marriage. My inquiry has more to do with Bernard, as he was estranged from his family (all except my father) but we never knew reasons as to why. I know my father has always wondered, and whether the reasons were simple, complicated or because something bad happened, he has a desire to know. If this sounds familiar, I'd love to hear more from you.
