Randy was born in Mankato, Minnesota on May 20, 1969. He lived in Fredericksburg, Texas and California for several years. He was employed by Sax & Roscoe Construction Co. Randy loved being a "Good Cowboy." He lived beyond his questions and dreamed beyond his doubts. Hank Williams Jr. and country music, the Dallas Cowboys and golf, were part of his passion in life. Randy loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor, his twinkling blue eyes and dimpled smile were irresistible. Family, love, and work were an important part of a new life he was building. Anyone who knew him loved him and feels "this is a great loss and he is irreplaceable." The family is devastated. Randy is survived by his parents, Gary Lachmiller and his wife, Rosene, of Fredericksburg, Texas and Connie Hirschmugl, and her husband, Jim of Novato; grandfather Max Bayless of Wyoming, his brothers Rick Lachmiller, Jonathon Lachmiller, Luke Hirschmugl, Jon Hirschmugl; his sisters Melanie Hirschmugl, Jaimie Lachmiller, Jody Lachmiller; his uncle Ronald Lachmiller and wife, Jean, of Minnesota; aunt Vicki Webber of Novato; great aunt Juneth Watson of Hye, Texas; nieces Cheyenne Rose, Dylan Paige, Hazel Lily and Chloe; cousins Kenny McLendon, John Roberts of Colorado, and Blake R. Webber. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 26, 2005 at the Chapel of Richard Pierce Funeral Service, 1660 Silverado Trail, in Napa. There will be a reception following the service, hosted by Lorri and Brandon Sax, and Jennifer and Brant Roscoe at 3701 Diane Ct, Napa. Interment services will be held in Fredericksburg, Texas and Novato at a later date. Friends who prefer may contribute to the activity department of any convalescent hospital or senior home in your area in memory of Randy in lieu of flowers.
