I found the obit for Ella in Fort Bragg Advocate on Wednesday, Nov 29, 1905 Death of an Old Resident In this city on Tuesday of last week, after an illness of about 8 years, Mrs. Ellen Marsh Chisholm died, at the age of about 44 years, leaving a son and two daughters, besides other relatives. The funeral took place Thursday from the family residence, Rev. Mr. Marshman officiating. Chisholm b. Nova Scotia Can. . I have Ella w/her parents in the 1880 Redwood, Sonoma Co Census. Then I have Ella Chisholm in Census 1900 in Lorain Oh. widowed w/ 3 children, w/her parents. They all moved back to Calif.By census records I narrowed it down to Ella's marriage being abt 1886. Ella and her parents Henry and Rachel Marsh all died in Fort Bragg, Mendocino Co. Calif. Ella died 11-21-1905. Ella and (unknown) Chisholm had 3 children; Alexandria, Abbie and William Chisholm all born in California. Any Help would be great! Thank you!
